Who are the Northeast Special Needs Network?

NSNN is a parent led charity employing experienced staff to help families with disabled children make the best choices. We also support families with young people through their transition into adult services.

The majority of the NSNN staff and trustees are carers or have a close family member who has a disability, they are well aware of the difficulties and stresses facing parent carers.

We have developed the following services in response to requests from parent carers.

Information Enquiry Service
Parent carers can contact us for information and advice by telephone, email or post.

One to One Family Support
In depth advice and support for parent carers tailored to their individual family’s circumstances and needs, working with agencies towards positive outcomes for their family.
