Welcome to NSNN

Northeast Special Needs Network (NSNN) is a registered charity supporting families of disabled children and young people in the North East.

Our services include:

 

Parent and child at Alan Shearer Centre

  • Supporting families who have a child or young person with special needs or a disability, to identify and prioritise their problems and access services which meet the needs of their family.
  • Family Advice Workers who can arrange visits at home or at another suitable venue and assist families to access relevant services.
  • Producing information, advice and support on issues relating to disabled children and publishing a monthly newsletter.
  • Providing training for parents with our Through Transition and Through Adulthood courses.
  • NSNN working in partnership with other agencies in the region to provide a joined up service for families.
  • The production of a report by NSNN to service providers in Newcastle to feedback gaps identified through working with families.
